A little more about me.
Hi, I'm Coach Tiffany, she/her pronouns. I have been a registered nurse since 2007. I worked on an acute care floor and then did case management at OHSU. It was intense, to say the least. The stress of it really burned me out, to the point where I started to have serious, debilitating health issues. I knew I needed to make a change.
At that point, I decided to make my health my number one priority. I also found the Integrative Nurse coaching program and knew immediately that coaching was my calling.
Unfortunately, in my quest for health, I found more and more restrictive diets. While I was no longer dieting for weight loss as I had done off and on since age 12, I was still restricting. The combination of lifelong disordered eating and the restrictive "healthy" dieting, really started to mess with my head. I would eat perfectly for a while and then binge. I would then feel that there was something wrong with me and go into a shame spiral (which only made things worse). I had no idea that the severe restriction was the problem, not me. Fortunately, I found Intuitive Eating....a way to heal my relationship with food.
After healing my own relationship with food, I started noticing how much of a challenge it was for my clients and the women (and some of the men) in my life. I saw them wasting so much of their precious mental and emotional energy trying to control food and their bodies. I decided I needed to do more. I became certified in Intuitive Eating so I could help others heal.
I love being a coach. After learning so much through my own journey to health and healing my relationship with food, I'm excited to share this knowledge with and support others. I'm passionate about empowering leaders and high achievers to stop wasting their energy fighting themselves so they can have a greater impact on the world.

Another piece of my journey is my long-term recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder. I have been sober since June 1998. Recovery has informed all areas of my life, especially my work as a nurse and a coach.
