Easy Access to Satisfying Food

Nourishment and satisfaction at your fingertips….

Do you have high quality nourishing and satisfying meals at your fingertips each and every meal? I can hear you laughing….or rolling your eyes. But seriously, do you?

Most of my clients come to me feeling frustrated and full of shame around their eating habits. They often don’t eat until they are super hungry and end up grab fast food, eating while driving down the road. When I ask if they are doing food prep, they sigh and say, I know I should but….or they admit that they go to the store and buy lots of veggies but they just rot in the crisper drawer.

This is a good place to talk about real life, it’s also fitting to add in the cliche, failing to plan is planning to fail. Here's the deal, my clients and most of my readers are busy, busy people. You are managing businesses or work, households, and often kiddos. Real life is happening and you are tired. Food becomes a “should” on your to do this and then a “must” when the need becomes urgent. When we get to a place of serious hunger, we are much more likely to eat the nearest thing, regardless of the nutrient value or how satisfying it is.

Removing the self-judgement is critical to planning for our real lives. Knowing our limitations on time and energy is part of that. If I asked you to write down all the things you were responsible for, how long would that list be? No wonder you don’t feel like chopping a bunch of veggies!

Soooo, how can we plan for success? For some it is all about planning for food prep. There are several great meal planning apps and other tools (watch out for details on my meal planning/food prep workshop coming up next month). But really, all the tools in the world won’t make you do it. It requires building in time consistently. It requires having the energy to do it.

I love an entirely different option- paying someone to do it for me. Meals made by someone else are at least 2 times more satisfying for me. For awhile I had a local momma who would come over to prep my food. It’s crazy how cared for I felt. The fridge was full, there was a hot meal in the crock pot and the dishes were done, ahhhhhh. You might be thinking, I can’t afford that! It was actually more cost effective than you think. It cost about what I would spend taking my family out to dinner. I ate almost all my meals at home or brought food with me so I spent wayyyyy less on takeout, going out to eat or quick convenience foods. I also never had wasted veggies in the crisper because they were already prepped! Unfortunately for me, our time ended because she found her passion and started her own awesome business.

Then, I found something just as awesome. MEAL DELIVERY SERVICES! You go to the website, click things and pay, then food magically comes to your house. It is super satisfying. And actually healthy. This is often how I plan and acknowledge my REAL life. No self-judgement or shame. I look at my calendar and if I don’t have time to do my meal prep that week, I order. My favorite service is No Mess Chef. They are an awesome local family. They have paleo and vegetarian options as well as just good, nourishing food choices. Its tasty, nourishing and easy.

Guess what?! I reached out to them to let them know I would be telling you about them...and they offered a reader discount (that’s you:)! To redeem, go to https://nomesschef.com/ and use code ‘coachtiffany10’ (offer good through June 30th). I can’t wait to hear how much more satisfying the food was when you didn’t have to make it!
